Join Us in Prayer Throughout the 2026-27 School Year
Whittier Christian High School believes prayer is more than a tradition or routine. It is a daily invitation to draw near to God, seek wisdom, and place every joy, burden, victory, and challenge before Him. Prayer reminds us that we were never meant to walk through life alone. In classrooms, on athletic fields, during chapel, and in quiet personal moments, prayer keeps our community centered on Christ and aligned with His purpose for our lives.
At WCHS, prayer is woven into the rhythm of campus life because we believe spiritual growth matters deeply. Students are encouraged to bring their questions, fears, hopes, and dreams honestly before God while learning to trust Him in every season. Through prayer, students grow in humility, gratitude, courage, and dependence on the Lord. It becomes a foundation not only for academic and personal growth, but for discovering and pursuing their God-given Life Calling.
Prayer also strengthens the unity of our community. Faculty, coaches, parents, and students regularly pray for one another, celebrating together in times of blessing and standing together in times of hardship. In a world filled with noise and distraction, prayer creates space to listen for God’s voice and be reminded of His faithfulness. It is one of the ways we continue to live out our mission as a Christ-centered community that equips and guides students to Explore. Discover. Pursue.
